We here at Marilyn Fan Confessions would like to take a moment to honor the great Lauren Bacall, who starred with Marilyn in How To Marry a Millionaire. She passed away last night at the age of 89, but her legacy will live on forever.

May she rest in peace.
"I hate all the fake quotes circulating online!"
First of all, I see MM get hated on every day by ignorant, uneducated people who consider her what you referred to her as: an “overrated whore,” to the point where it doesn’t even affect me. It’s a shame that people will hate on her because she was famous.
You have me confused with someone else.
My main blog is sopranomonroe. I know for a fact I’ve never posted anything about Mae Murray, as I don’t know who that is (although I am willing to learn). Mae West is a talented, wonderful actress, whose figure I’m insanely jealous of. I have friends who follow Mamie Van Doren on Facebook and think she’s a total sweetheart—I have yet to see a film of hers but she seems like a wonderful lady.
So maybe you should think about how false accusations can hurt a person much more than seeing celebrities who can’t defend themselves get insulted.
51 years ago today, a real-life angel was taken from us. Marilyn Monroe died on the evening of August 4, 1962, at the age of 36. Rest in peace, Marilyn. I’m happy I got to visit you two weeks ago…I love you.
